AMEL Speakers bring informative and inspirational talks to schools, businesses, organizations, community centers, places of worship, conferences, and gatherings across the United States and the globe. Sharing stories of bridge-building leadership for human rights, democracy, peace, pluralism, and social cohesion, they spread sparks of hope, dialogue, and transformation. Speakers include AMEL’s President Mohamed Abubak , Executive Director Megan Hallahan, and Senior Director for Human Rights, Nicholas Opiyo, among others.
AMEL also offers training sessions and workshops on topics related to human rights, democracy, allyship to prevent atrocities, transforming conflicts, empowering young people, and more. Training sessions and workshops can be online or in-person and can be customized to according to partner needs and requests.
